No matter the season, Big Blue's tranquility and surreal sunsets are only an arm's length away from the water's edge with this charming and quaint year-round cottage on Lake Michigan.  The views to the north and west are endless!  You will have a chance to see sunsets and storms roll in like never before.  This cute cottage is also minutes away from all of your favorite things to do!



INSIDE THE HOME

This three-bedroom, two-full-bathroom cottage with an open kitchen/dining concept and living space is the perfect family getaway. Open all three living room sliders to appreciate the gentle breeze flowing through the lake house or enjoy the deck with with additional seating and a gas grill for an outdoor meal.  Also, within a moment's walk from the cottage, let your family hike and explore the sand dunes or take a quick ride on your favorite sand toy at the scenic Silver Lake Sand Dunes. This is not a pet-friendly property.

OUTDOOR SPACE

Get the best view of Lake Michigan from Sandpiper's back deck. A place you won't want to leave. 

Due to high water and rock revampment, there is currently no water access in front of the property.  If the water recedes, there may be stairs near the propane tank in the cove to the north side of the property.  Otherwise, there is beach access to Big Blue through the dunes on the south side of the home. The entrance to the dunes is only 4 houses away.



Silver Lake is located in Mears, Michigan, and offers shorelines along Lake Michigan and Silver Lake. While vacationing here you won't want to miss out on the experiences that the massive Silver Lake Sand Dunes have to offer. Rent a jeep of your own or head over to Mac Wood's Dune Rides for an adventurous ride on the sand dunes. Nearby is the Hart-Montague Bicycle Trail which will take you along 22.5 miles of scenic routes. The quaint little town of Pentwater is located just north of the Silver Lake area. Pentwater is the epitome of small-town charm with its shops, food, and ice cream.  Don't forget to grab breakfast at Cherry Point, where they offer homemade donuts and treats daily. For dinner, spend an evening at Golden Sands, a small, family-owned restaurant and golf course that will leave a lasting impression. Plan on spending a day with your family at Michigan's  Adventure for a day of action and excitement. Lucky for you, all of this is just minutes away, and waiting for your family to create lasting memories.
