Great property. Fire pit, private yard, hot tub, and grill. Walkable to beach. You do need to walk on a main road, but it felt safe to do so. House is beautifully decorated and the sound system was a nice touch. Pier Cove Beach is great for rock hunting. Was super close to anything we needed.

The home is in a beautiful forest a short walk from the beach. Beds are soft and comfortable, home is nicely decorated. We loved the screened-in porch and a record player with a great collection of old albums. Roasting s'mores around the fire pit was lots of fun.

It's a beautiful well maintained property with all the amenities. Owners are easy to communicate with. The lake is a smidge further than we thought but still close, but if you're planning a full day with gear plan on using the car to the nearby beaches.

Comfortable and clean property in a wooded area just off the beach. Room for small family or two couples. Well appointed. No window treatments, so it's basically impossible to sleep past sunrise as there is no way to darken the bedrooms. It also makes undressing in front of open windows a bit uncomfortable. No mirror in the master bathroom. Mirror in the upstairs bathroom fit for a 5ft person, but no taller. Upstairs bathroom poorly designed. The shower is waaaay too big, crushing the vanity into a tight remainder. The microwave is old, the fact the clock doesn't keep time pointing to this.

What a beautiful, peaceful retreat! The cabin is set back off the main road with only a few other houses around—all currently empty or under construction. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the Pier Cove, perfect for post-dinner strolls to watch the sunset over the lake. You can hear the waves from the backyard! A constant stream of wildlife running across the property; it was a treat to open the door and be greeted by deer lounging in the yard. A quick drive into Saugatuck and Fennville and to several beaches and hiking trails. Ideal for a solo trip if you're looking to disconnect, but would gladly return for a trip with family or friends—the cabin and property are spacious, clean, and equipped for the ultimate cozy escape!

This property is amazing! The open layout flows comfortably and the decor is warm and welcoming. The screened in porch lets you feel like your outside in the beauty of nature. Need a more specific list of amenities as the outside shed had beach items we wouldn't have needed to bring. The nearest beach was closed and it would have been helpful to know that ahead of time.

Just fabulous! The house was gorgeous, the location private and peaceful and yet so close to everything. We enjoyed the hot tub and campfire, the screened in porch. We did some beach days, went shopping in Saugatuck, visited the Art Barn and Holland. Wish we could have stayed longer. My only suggestion is to hang a mirror somewhere in the master suite. Otherwise, perfection!

This is a beautiful, quiet home that is central to several cities/activities. Loved the screened in room and saw lots of deer, black squirrels and even a blue jay. The hot tub worked great and so did the heating/air. Management was super communicative and proactive. Perfect place for a getaway. Would rent again for sure.

The cabin was grandiose and beautiful, it's situated in a very private woodsy area, the built in speakers throughout the house were very cool and the hot tub was addicting. It's designed very well and included a lot of kitchen amenities as well as some outdoor activities. Overall couldn't pick a better honeymoon location. Loved it.

Our stay in Fennville was highlighted by our stay here. The house was clean and inviting. There were a few maintenance issues with lightbulbs and towel rods, but service came out very quickly and fixed things right up. The amenities were top notch. We loved the open concept downstairs. There were plenty of opportunities for our family to be together, but also many built in ways for each of us to have our space. It was great being within walking distance of Pier Cove Park on Lake Michigan. We highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautifully furnished getaway in the woods with close access to beach, cities, and all sorts of fun

This was an incrediblely relaxing stay. The home is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Outside it's a Disney princess paradise complete with frolicking deer and scampering squirrels. The beach is a short walk down the road and shopping and some amazing restaurants are just a 15minute drive either direction. This was by far our favorite rental and plan to visit again.

We celebrated our 37th anniversary here and enjoyed the very clean rental and beautifully decorated home, sipping wine from local wineries, walking the beach, visiting some shops and one of our favorite restaurant in South Haven, Clementines!Thank you Jaqua Realtors for your quick communication and responding when we contacted you with some questions. This is a beautiful place in the woods and has all you need to cook with and then some. The shed had beach chairs as well to use. Many things the owners took great care in covering and making sure our stay was fantastic.Quick communication...really appreciated Jaqua's team in any questions we had. Especially when our key code worked upon entry and then 15 minutes later it stopped working. We text the team and they had a new code within a minute...awesome..We hope to return here again!

Loved the furnishings, the quiet, the heavily-wooded lot, the small library, the screened-in porch and patio, the super comfy linens and beds, and the well stocked kitchen tableware and utensils. The house seems like it was designed by an architect, because of the size, charm, and flow of the rooms. It is walking distance to Pier Cove beach which is great for watching sunsets. Lyons Market is a short drive and they had great local summer fruits. We enjoyed the short hiking ravine trail within walking distance. I the trail was hard to find, so realtor could include directions. The house has an easy drive to Douglas and Saugatuck. We had only one problem with the amenities, the hot tube was super hot (105 deg.) I guess we could have opened it to cool down a bit before getting in. All four of us, including my husband and my tween and teen kids. liked the house.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Pier Cove Chalet. The home is even better than the photos. The kitchen is fully stocked, the decor is pleasing to the eye and comfortable. The outdoor space is spot on. We loved morning coffee in the screened in porch and late nights in the hot tub under the stars. It is a very short walk to Pier Cove and is also near some beautiful walking trails. The Pier Cove Ravine is a walking trail covered by pines and gorgeous lush greenery minutes from the home. Pier Cove is one of our favorite family friendly beaches. The home also had a wagon and chairs for us to use on the beach. We saw deer in the yard and in the neighborhood the home is surrounded by nature. The home was private and felt like the retreat we needed from the city. Our nine days was too short! We hope to return again.

This property was just what our family needed. It was a 30 second drive to Pier Cove Park with another beach access point just a mile down the road. We decided to stay in the area because it was in the middle of all the family-friendly areas (South Haven, Holland, Saugatuck, etc.). The chalet was immaculately clean with all the amenities as outlined. We spent a lot of our downtime on the porch, with serene views of the woods. The hot tub was a hit. The little touches were awesome - a small radio (there is a hardwired one as well), games for the kiddos, playing cards, Connect Four outside. There were other games and amenities available that we didn't use because we were on the go. But I appreciate having options. The chalet / surrounding area was quiet / safe. Loved our trip and stay.

Very nice place and location!! Very clean and decorated nicely. Peaceful and quiet in the woods, the screened in porch was a little piece of heaven. Deer spotted just in the woods. The host thought of everything a guest may need including a shed full of beach supplies. Beds are super comfortable. It was nice to have 2 1/2 baths too. Comfortably slept 5 people. Hot tub was clean and warm, felt good after a day of shopping. The beach access isn't the best. It is walkable to a very small public beach but the stairs are a bit treacherous and not everyone would be able to get down them. Oval Beach is much bigger and better and a 15 minute drive. Would definitely recommend the Pier Cove Chalet.
