Bedroom two has a queen bed, and bedroom three contains a bunk bed with 2 full sized beds and trundle. There is an additional "chair" that converts into a double bed in the loft area upstairs with a beautiful view of the Lake - if needed. The kitchen is equipped with the basics, but if there is anything specific you may need during your stay please ask.

The property was excellent. It was in a good location from Saugatuck and Douglas.We knew that there were steps to get down to the Lake Michigan beach however I would mention that visitors may need to bring or purchase water shoes as it is quite rocky to get into the water and get to the lake sandbar.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property. The location is fantastic, and being so close to Lake Michigan with private association beach access was a huge plus.The home was comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved spending time on the front porch, enjoying our morning coffee and winding down with an afternoon cocktail.The kitchen is spacious and well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. Overall, this was a great place to stay, and we would happily come back again.

I loved this place overall, it was very peaceful and felt like we were in the woods. We saw the most beautiful sunset off of Lake Michigan. The drive was easy to take a walk without a lot of cars like the other side of the wash out. The central area of the house was very open and great for gatherings. The tap water in this area can be very hard, but they must have installed a filter in the kitchen because the water from the tap and the ice in the fridge tasted clean. In the past when I've stayed in other places, the water tastes like well water in this area. A wonderful stay.

This was the perfect location and home for our families to come together and enjoy Lake Michigan! The home is designed and outfitted with families in mind. We've spent many summers up on Lakeshore and enjoying the surrounding area of Douglas & Saugatuck. We definitely look forward to renting at Blue Haven in the future!

Lovely property in a great, peaceful location across the street from the water. The stairs down to the lake are a little steep, so you may want to carry any little ones who come with you. Definitely worth the climb down though! The house itself is lovely with tons of toys and activities for children, and an open kitchen and living room. The owners have pretty much provided anything you could think of, including folding chairs and plenty of seating outside by the fire pit. The entry door is around the side of the house! We had to search for a second because we didn't know where it was at, and you may have to wiggle it a little to get in after it's unlocked because it tends to get stuck. All in all a great experience.

The drive down the quiet road to the property was private and woody, and very serene, enjoyed by deer families and dog walkers. The home itself offered everything we needed. We enjoyed leisurely hours on the front porch, from which we could see a nice slice of the lake across the street, and enjoy the lake breeze with all our senses. Comfortable beds, a fabulous grill and stove. Much appreciated was the availability of 2 beach chairs, which we borrowed to spend an afternoon at nearby incredible Oval Beach with its white sand dunes. A lovely stay. Highly recommended!

Main living area is fabulous, so spacious and airy. House is modern and comfortable, kitchen well-stocked and even included sharp cutting knives! We used Oval Beach and Douglas Beach, as the access close to the house was via a very steep staircase, and the beach area quite small. We also really loved the little neighborhood and walked a couple of miles every morning. It's just beautiful, and we really loved being able to see the lake from across the street.

This was the perfect base for our son's small family wedding held at the Lavender Farm. Beautiful location and easy walk to the lake/beach and sunsets. Great property, exactly as shown in the photos. Super clean when we arrived. Great communication in advance from the property manager. Property was in a great location tucked back on a quiet street with epic lake views yet still close to town. Back yard was a sanctuary, we had an outdoor fire, played cards and even saw deer stroll thru several times! We would absolutely stay again. If I have to find minor things to pick on… the water is hard so plan on bringing drinking water. Kitchen could use some additional plates and cups. A step off the back deck would be helpful.

This house has many super features and a few lacking. It's lovely, new, with great windows, in a million dollar neighborhood, and the interior was in great condition (outside needs gutters cleaned and pressure washed). The quiet street was perfect for walking with amazing water and sunset views. Drive to a sand beach (2 small ones 2 miles south or amazing Oval Beach is a 20 min drive north). The private shoreline across the street is completely covered in rocks ranging from gravel-golf-tennis-softball size. We walked it once, watched sunsets, but never set up a chair. The huge, cozy couch facing the TV/fireplace was great for lounging, but additional upholstery is needed. There's lots of dining seating inside, but all hard wood, needing cushions. The kitchen was a cook's dream with an amazing stove, gorgeous countertops, and cabinets filled with serving dishes, cookware, and small appliances. But there was limited ceramic plateware, few regular drinking glasses, unmatched coffee cups. Plastic plates, bowls and acrylic glasses were provided. Great fire pit with lots of seating and firewood provided, and more seating on back deck. There were two gas grills, but they dripped grease out of the bottom. With the water views on the other side, we wanted to spend more time out front than in back. There were 2 really nice quality Adirondack chairs in front, more seating and a cafe table out front would be better.

The Blue Haven has a beautiful living space with lots of room to get a group together. The kitchen has great accessories and was pretty stocked for pretty much everything we needed. Our group spent a lot of time around the large island as well as around the gigantic dining table playing games, chatting etc. We also had a nice fire outside one evening and the back porch is huge. Overall, lots of large living spaces to hang out together with a group of people! We took a stroll to the beach access area one day as well and it's so peaceful. Very private rocky beach area where you could just sit and watch the gorgeous Lake Michigan sunsets!

The pictures and description of this home are spot on. It's a sprawling dining, kitchen and living area that feels open and welcoming. We traveled with 2 families of 4 with 4 kids under 4. The sleeping arrangement was great for us. Impressive amount of Toys and books for the littles. No reasons to bring anything. Great big kitchen and cabinet space for food. The backyard and decks make for great outdoor eats and morning coffees. It peaceful all day long and feels secluded. Great change of pace from Chicago. The lake front pictures are appropriate. The beach is rocky and only for walking up and down. No true beach experience but Oval Beach is 15 Min away with parking next to the beach with what feels like a mile of beach. Communication with the host was easy and quick. Great Stay!

This is a great house in a quiet neighborhood. The lake is directly across the street and the house has views of the lake from all of the rooms on the front side of the house. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and modern amenities. There is a nice office area if you need to get work done or need a place to retreat to. The back yard is big and there wasn't a day that we didn't see a dear make it's way through the yard. Lastly, the owner of the house was super responsive and easy to deal with. Overall, we really enjoyed the house.
